Pointed Brush Italic Calligraphy
In this 2.5-hour workshop, you will learn to use a pointed fiber-tipped brush to create beautiful thick-and-thin italic letters. To build awareness for the pressure-release technique to create the letters, you will also learn “faux calligraphy” which can be adapted to larger poster work. Supplies:
You will supply the following
3 Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pens in 1) black, 2) choice of color and 3) Soft Grey (e.g., N71)
Pad of marker paper (e.g., Canson XL Marker)
Fine Sharpie non-bleed black pen 0.8 or Micron .08
