Description:
In this 3-hour workshop you will learn the basic italic (cursive) letterforms and you’ll be introduced to elegant edged-pen calligraphy. You will learn about calligraphy tools, tips and techniques and you’ll receive a list of resources for further study. You can also use these tools as a basis for improving your everyday handwriting. No art experience necessary.

For those who have taken the class before, this is a good opportunity to “tune up” your italic, practice the basic letterforms and improve your personal handwriting.

Sally will email three packets of handouts which will be covered in the class. You will have access to the video for 90 days.

What you’ll need (Supplies):

• Fine Sharpie non-bleed black pen OR black Micron Pigma pen, .05

• Pilot Parallel Pen, size 2.4 (yellow/orange cap)

• Paper: Pad of Canson Marker paper 9 x 12
