Description:
In this 2.5-hour workshop, you will come to appreciate the versatility of this fun, inexpensive tool for creating vibrant works of art and images for cards and books. You will learn how to load and manipulate the brush with water-based media, and learn several fun techniques that are unique to this tool. Class includes a mailer: Sally will send you, via snail-mail, a packet of materials: a pocket folder for holding your foam brush examples, a black accordion book and a viewfinder. You will also receive an email with the instructional handout.

Supplies:
• Foam brushes (1” and 2” wide)
• Pan watercolor (e.g., Prang or Gansai Tambi)
• Watercolor brush (round or flat, medium size)
• Tablet of 140# watercolor paper (and some black card stock, if you have it)
• X-acto knife and cutting board
